Radio Maldwyn is locally produced 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 95% of our programmes are broadcast 'live', or 'as live' except for our overnight service which is automated. Our local news bulletins are carried seven times a day Monday to Friday between 0700hrs and 1900hrs. Local weather forecasts are broadcast every hour between those times throughout the week. IRN (Independent Radio News) supplies our national news service which is broadcast every hour on the hour between 0700hrs and 2200hrs seven days a week.

Radio Maldwyn's service is a mix of locally focused news and information, plus music designed to appeal to the 25-54 year olds in Mid Wales. Radio Maldwyn's music is a mix of current hits, plus classic tracks from the past five decades.
